Title: Meeting new members Post by: kbareit on August 04, 2013, 12:33:17 pm I made a trip up to see Slider Bob yesterday to pick up a couple 110's and drop off some parts. I brought a 55 base for new member Detroit Dave in case he wanted it for his Hires slider and he came over to meet Bob and myself. After helping load me up and showing Dave how to remove his old base and checking out Bobs stash of machines we headed over to a local A&W for lunch.
It was great getting to see Bob again and getting to meet Dave, he has got the soda machine bug bad and it was fun swapping stories of the hunt for machines. I spent 5 1/2 hours on Ebay with another 2 hours on Craigslist Finder..( and I found sliders too...MUHAHAHAHAHAHA )....OMG...I'M DOOMED....THERE BOTH evil....talking to one alone is ok..but the both of them together...EVIL...where's my HOLY WATER..??? :darn: :darn: :darn: :darn:
