Post by: Detroit Dave on July 11, 2013, 07:24:37 pm I was up picking up gas stations signs the other day and I got to talking to an older gentleman and he says.." You like them old machines..? " Well yeah I tell him and he says.." I have an old Hires cooler in my sisters garage..want it..? Its rusty though.." Well I told him yes but then I started thinking...( dangerous I know...).Did Hires really make a large cooler..? Can it be another cooler but with a Hires root beer sticker.? I saw it and it says "Dr.Pepper" on the side and Hires on the front.

That's a Ideal 55 slider. It looks like the coin mech is missing and the probably the rack as well. I just sent mine out to get painted and can't wait to get it back so I can get it finished.
