Title: Any of you guys ever see one of these??? Post by: SLIDER on July 02, 2013, 02:03:56 am One is called a "Heinz soup Kitchen" really caught my eye and have never saw or heard of them before. From what I can see is that you would stack cans of soup on the display part trying to figure out what he timers do and how the soup gets hot?? looks like from the late 30s to 1940s ???
The other is a popcorn warmer?? Table top model? Never heard of this one before??? Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!! Title: Re: Any of you guys ever see one of these??? Post by: 90grad on July 02, 2013, 05:34:48 am When I was a kid (mid 70s), we still had a Woolworth's lunch counter at the local shopping center. I remember a soup rack like that. I seem to recall there was a stainless steel coffee mug/beer mug-looking thing that you poured the soup into. The mug had a plug on it. Then, the "mug" was attached to the display beside the dial (there's a receptacle there on each side) and that heated up your soup.

The soup one is what explained, there is a small cup that you put the soup in and it heated it up. I have also seen them with an opener on them for the cans. It basically heated up the soup for you. It was a display vehicle for cafe's and such.

He has over 30 of them all the same..Im tempted but I dont know enough about them..how to restore them and such..he sent me a pic of all them on a trailer..Som ein good shape..some in not so good shape.

Another completely ODD place I never would have looked into if not for pure chance!!! Even the wife had a hand in this one!!! :happydrinkers: Will post pics when I get them home..... Been working on the two wall boxes I have a 4820 and a 4851. The stepper I am using is the 248.
Have them all wire up and now fully working with some very delicate Stepper cleaning and adjusting that had to be done. Ready for next project???? Wife want me to start the "Candy Man" candy bar machine next.. Getting backed up!!! |
