Title: vendo 59 value... Post by: jnapp18 on June 25, 2013, 01:52:21 pm First of all... I know :needphotos:
That being said.. Can you guys give me a range for the value of a vendo 59.. I'm following leads on coke machines/signs/oil gas stuff and the guy tells me he has a vendo 59 but he isn't great at communicating.. He also has a cav51 but I'm passing on that.. Only got 2 pictures so far and it doesn't look too promising.. EDIT: THESE PICTURES ARE OF OTHER ITEMS--> http://imgur.com/1xCWMQv,hI1ks4A Title: Re: vendo 59 value... It really depends on the condition of the machine? Does it run, or cool, and fully operational? Does the coin mechanism work ? Drum present? Really it's a loaded question without knowing more about it. It being a drum machine, it's a single flavor, and will have bottle size limitations! Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: jnapp18 on June 25, 2013, 02:58:25 pm Idk slap, sorry. All I got was "the other is a 59"... He's terrible at communicating...
Let's just say is it is decent condition working, 95% parts there? Because I probably will pass if it isn't all there Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: Slapshot42 on June 25, 2013, 03:06:32 pm I would start around $675 and work your way up if you need too! A nice original I would value around $1200
Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: jholmgren on June 25, 2013, 03:43:54 pm I don't think that's a Vendo-59. My Vendo 59 is a spin-top.
Here's the pic for y'all.... Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: Slapshot42 on June 25, 2013, 04:22:39 pm That is a Cavalier 51 . It does have a "ammo belt" that spins hah
It's missing the coin door, coin mechanism, and weird looking cap-catcher in it's place! Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: jnapp18 on June 25, 2013, 05:03:33 pm HA i know thats not the 59, gosh if i think thats a spin top i might need to rethink this hobby... those were other things he had
Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: Kilroy on June 25, 2013, 05:41:11 pm Jack mentioned he wasn't interested in the Cav 51 the seller has. Pay attention people. There will be a quiz later.
If the 59 isn't 100% complete, I'd walk. parts are hard to find. On the plus side, it could be an Ideal 55, or a Vendo 459, Who knows. You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a princess Title: Re: vendo 59 value... I totally missed the comment about the Cav 51 and when I clicked the link, the 51 was the only machine shown. Mea Culpa. Speaking of spin-tops. Here's one you don't see every day - just popped up for sale in my neck of the woods: Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: Slapshot42 on June 25, 2013, 07:42:14 pm Pay attention people. Slider bob at one time was looking at mine.
Title: Re: vendo 59 value... Post by: cohammer on June 25, 2013, 08:57:39 pm I guess I am failing this test, we started with a 59 then we are looking at a spin top and I think we finished up on a 51 , with some comments thrown in about JR.
