Title: Help with removing insides of a Vendo H63 A Post by: Netminder8 on May 30, 2013, 04:55:56 pm I am starting my first restoration and have a 1960 Vendo H63 A model. Most of it looks straight forward but I don't want to open a can of worms so I would like some advice on how to and if its worth removing the inner walls (cooling section) of this machine. Any tricks or what to watch out for advice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Much advice will depend on the condition. If you see rust through on the outside of the machine. A clogged drain tube or rust through in the bottom of the inner liner has caused the insulation to become soaked. Thus worthless. What are your plans for the machine? If it is a keeper I'd pull the inner liner and seal everything with POR-15. Fixing any rust through first. New insulation. Pictures help a great deal for sorting these issues.
