Title: HELP!!! Non soda machine related Post by: VMAXMAN on May 30, 2013, 02:04:49 pm I need help desperately!
I have a 98 mercury mountaineer and just the other day the tranny wouldn't shift over more than 1 time. (automatic AWD) It shifts fine and strong the 1st time and then wont shift anymore. Is it a solenoid issue or what? The tranny reacts strong otherwise. I'd hate to run it 5,000 RPM to work Title: Re: HELP!!! Non soda machine related Post by: Ltransam on May 30, 2013, 02:31:29 pm VMAXMAN I Have a 2000 Chrysler Serbring Conv . It did the same thing to my Wife . Non soda machine related Post by: tkaz on May 30, 2013, 02:39:01 pm First thing I'd check is your tranny fluid level, there may be enough in there to work into the shift valves initially, but once it distributes there is none left.

Don't drive it until fixed. I could not agree more about that. Transmissions are very expensive as I found out and it is not a fun experience to have your transmission fail as things like that will usually fail at the worst possible time and make it a memorable experience Title: Re: HELP!!!
