Title: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: jbrumett on May 23, 2013, 09:13:21 am Want to offer it here first,
I have reluctantly decided to sell my Stoner Theater to a good home. I had started some of the restoration processs such as sanding and priming the cabinet along with painting the vending rack and shelves with hammertone silver. Obviously the cabinet still needs some body work done to remove dents The issues with the machine are the light fixture and the acrylic bulbs are missing but I know Curtis with Memory Lane has a guy who fabricates those for him. Also, as the picture below shows the bottom of the base is rusted out and will need to be replaced or repaired. Mirror is NOT cracked but the backing is peeling off. Nothing else is missing that I am aware of. Again, hate to sell but working on other projects right now and with the birth of a new baby I'm feeling like this machine would be better served in someone elses hands because at the rate I am going candy will be out of style by the time I get this thing completed. When I get home tonight I will post more pictures but here are a few to at least get the ball rolling on interest. By the way I am located in KY. PM me for details Jeff Title: Re: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: MCarter on May 23, 2013, 01:26:38 pm How much?

Here are some more pics of the parts and the base. I was able to do some welding on the base and patch some of the rusted out areas as you may be able to see in this pic but the job has not yet been completed obviously. Also, forgot to post price which is $1500. PM with questions and thanks, Jeff Title: Re: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: jbrumett on May 23, 2013, 08:49:06 pm Just a heads up that I did post it on craigslist but willing to offer it to SMC members at a lower price than advertised in case someone comes across the AD and is confused.
Take Care, Jeff Title: Re: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: jbrumett on May 24, 2013, 09:33:16 pm Update....
Here are a few more pics of the machine together. Also, one of the mirror which IMHO needs to be replaced. Will post more pics soon. Let me know if there are any specific pictures you need posted. Thanks Jeff Title: Re: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: johnieG on May 24, 2013, 11:12:04 pm Nice, It should make a good project.
Title: Re: Stoner Theater For Sale Post by: jbrumett on May 25, 2013, 08:55:16 pm Just want to clarify as I have heard from members here their concern about the lights missing
First of all, The machine did not have the bulbs that go in the light fixture as they were missing. Howvever, I do have some replacement bulbs for it but they are not permanently mounted as shown in the picture. They are just sitting in the fixure which is why they may look a little recessed compared to the original. Also, I do have the original light fixture but I am quite sure it does not work. Not brave enough to find out if it does. Want to clarify that the price is $1500 OBO...left the OBO part out of the 1st posting!!!! Hope this helps Jeff |
