Title: Had someone want to buy the WE-6 that sits outside. Post by: Creighton on May 12, 2013, 08:15:07 pm He was 7. Was Cleaning the garage and the little nipper was out with his Mom walking the dog.
Marched right up and asked "mister how much for the Coke machine." Mom say's he has been talking about it since they moved in down the street. Gave him and Mom the full compound tour and the look on his face at the RT-56 vending him a cold coke and playing the Speedway Arcade was priceless. Biggest laugh was when he said "Rick's Restorations" should see this place. I was floored. Pointed out TV is not reality. Fun day. I thought it was an interesting take on RR. He has been sadly been beat to death on this board. (some deserved) The kid was stoked to see machines just like what he has seen on TV. That is RR getting the word out folks. I don't see anyone else doing the same. Could be wrong. Creighton Title: Re: Had someone want to buy the WE-6 that sits outside. Another future collector on his way. As long as he gets used to hearing "it sells for $6000 restored" while junking, he should turn out ok. BC |
