Title: A little help with my Bastian Blessing Soda Fountain Post by: bcharlton on April 30, 2013, 08:03:12 am Well my soda water is a little flat coming out of my BB and I need help with my carbonation system. I am using a 10lb Co2 tank with a McCanns carbonator. I have the pressure set at 100lbs (max amount reccommended) to the carbonater. The soda water is cooled through a cold plate and is very cold at the spigot. Could I have an issue with the Procon carbonator pump not working efficiently? Could my Co2 level be down and the tank needs to be refilled? I am getting 100psi at the valve so I am not sure that is the issue.
Any Help? I know is it a little silly to have a working soda fountain in your home but I am currently seeking professional help to conquer my addiction. BC Title: Re: A little help with my Bastian Blessing Soda Fountain Post by: MCarter on April 30, 2013, 09:31:18 am CO is low

Title: Re: A little help with my Bastian Blessing Soda Fountain Post by: stuntpilot on May 01, 2013, 04:19:27 am No need to refill it, just check the pressure, if your tank pressure is over 600psi and the outlet pressure is at 100psi you have a different problem.
This could be any number of issues. I'll take a wild guess and say that you failed to purge the tank of air and properly cycle the carbonator when you initially started it. but then again I could be wildly wrong too! :hopefull: I don't know if you've read my post on the operation of a carbonator but you might check it out, http://soda-machines.com/discussions/index.php/topic,12004.0.html Follow the startup procedure in my post and make sure the carb cycles at least 4 times. Cycles means starts and stops, it looks like you have a small McCann's carb so it should run about 3-5 seconds and then stop as your drawing from the fountain.
