I've always known this seller to be in Moneta, VA ( my parents used to live there). Interesting that this item is listed as being in GA. It's cool. Never seen that before. $$$

Its amazing its made off wood and still in that good of condition. It would be interesting to see what it would sell for. To bad we can't see it in bid format.

He  knows there is only two because he just made that one after he saw the one at the museum. This seller is not in GA unless he moved. He has a long feedback because he has sold more reproductions than any one in the world.
Read the description close , what does vintage mean ? not 1930s

I tried to get in touch with Petretti years ago through an address in his 11th book and my letter came back undelivered.
I wonder how they got in touch him?

If it was made in the 30's or 40's, it seems that Kay Display would have made it out of solid wood. This one has been cut out of plywood.
The letters are perfect, but they could have been done by computer.
And I have never seen an ID plate on a Kay......only stamped!

Real or not ($19,500)for a small piece of wood.  I would rather but 3 Vendo 81's with that $19,500

I try to understand how this seller keeps his feed back positive. All I hear is how he has deceived some one. There is a long discussion on old gas from a few years ago and he keeps defending himself by saying he never says this stuff is original that people need to read the description closely. I just don't like to see a page description just trying to deceive. HE did not get any feedback from Alan P. or Coca Cola if so show us the proof. Just warning stay away from this seller even if its a $20 item.

Way overrated if you ask me... barely there on the neat scale.

I've talked with him a few years ago... He makes many of the metal signs... We talked about a NK flange he had made and I sent him a picture of a real NK one...
He ended up making the one I had sent him.. and the “5” on the sign is off which drives me crazy... or I would have bought one of the reproductions
its made well material wise... just got sloppy with art which I can't stand. Most of his stuff is short runs with no licenses and I don't think he dates his stuff.
again nice material but bad art on many....
this sign he has listed I know nothing about but with his abilities I would be careful.

I wouldn't mind paying 20 grand for such a rare piece (if I had that kind of cash), but you'd think for that kind of money it wouldn't look like they did a touch up with white-out.  Look closely at the pictures to the right side of the "ice" in ice cold...........        :darn:

Did anybody find a picture of this great collectable on the original sign it was attached to. I have not yet.
