Title: Second machine Post by: Kevin C on November 21, 2004, 09:21:33 pm Hello
Here are the first pictures of my second machine. It is Vendo 63. I had to drill the lock to open the machine. Inside I founnd about 75 cents of change & a dirty machine like someone sprayed it with coke. When I plugged it is it cooled down nicely & the Conco changer worked fine at 50 cents & the dispensor worked fine. Here is the picture of the inside. Now what to do when all my friends want their own machine. How much to sell them for? Ideas Kevin Title: Second machine Post by: loman4ec on November 21, 2004, 09:37:49 pm I just sold a nice origional v63 on ebay for $510.

That would be nice if I wanted to give them away. If I pay $360 for a machine & then put another $ 125 in parts plus the clean-up time. Should I post the price at $ 800. My problem is that the first machine cools fine, does not vend so I set it up for free vend & it looks pretty good compared to machine number 2. Machine 2 appears to cool well & vends correctly when money is put in but does not look as good as machine 1. Well I will finish getting Machine 2 reworked with new fan motors, T-stat, new lock & a good cleaning to the coils and then figure out a fair price. If they don't want it I will make one machine for adult drinks & one machine for soda & gatorade. Does that include complete stripping of the paint & repainting or an operational rebuilding? Motors, T-stat etc? Kevin Title: Second machine Post by: loman4ec on November 23, 2004, 05:50:00 pm That is a complete total stripdown of the entire machine, everything comes off, Then strip if necessary and prime and repaint with dupont acrylic enamel. Anything that needs any servicing gets it. If you look in the photo gallery there are a few examoles of my machines in the collections area. It is Josh's collection. Only the two USS 64's, the Vendo 56 and Glasco GBV 50 are restored. I am now working on another Vendo 56 Coke and a Cavalier CSS 64 Frosty machine.
