Title: Cigarette Machine? Any ideas?
Post by: tkaz on March 20, 2013, 10:30:51 am
Found this nearby, looks to be older but I can't really tell if it's worth anything.  Anybody have a clue as to what it might be?  The ad just says 'antique cigarette machine'

I was thinking it would look great if it could be repurposed into a candy vending machine, I requested some photos of the inside to see if that would work.

I'm sure that you could work wonders with that little old girl.
Give her the chance to live again... I would if I could.

for the $250 it would be minimal risk. Its probably only going to fit square candy boxes like Dots or Nerds if you go with a candy conversion.

I have a national 9 pull I put candy in, its not a perfect candy machine since you are limited to boxes but it does work.

Tom . I have a couple of 1930's wall hanging British Uneeda machines. Didn't know they originated from over the Pond.

Hi Dave
I don't have any now, but have had 2 over the years, very well made machines. I also had the big one with a large rotating knob in the center that was very cool. They are extremely well made machines, like everything was from yesteryear.
