I got out of door pushes because the prices started to go too high for what they were, and I got out of clock collecting once the market became flooded with fake / reproduced fronts on old pam backs.
When I first started with clocks, there was no concern with being original or not, but then slowly too many of these "rare" clocks were coming out all at the same time from different sellers... blah blah blah I got out. I know typically many clocks survived with little wear and tear, mainly because they were placed on a wall when new, then never touched for 30+ years in some cases. Just doing a search on Ebay for these clocks always brings out newer and better NOS or mint ones. Just be careful when collecting these is what I'm getting at.
