Title: Ideal 55 side loading door hole? Post by: Norrisk66 on January 27, 2013, 10:32:51 am This is another Ideal 55 I picked up. Any one have an idea why there is a hole through the inner and outer door- roughly 1-1/2" in diameter. Looks like it was done later in its life with a hole saw.

Post by: kbareit on January 27, 2013, 01:53:35 pm If someone was thinking of turning that slider into a kegerator they doubley screwed up. 1 A keg would not fit in the cooler very easily and 2 the hole for the faucet is way to big for the shank. They must have figured it out and decided to cut their losses and sell it.
