Holley carbs are too temramental I would suggest a carter mechanical secondary carb lol  :tounge:

carburetor, compressor, condenser...they all do the same thing!

I have a nice pair of rebuilt SU side-draught carbs, but they would probably only fit on a small British soda machine.    :Oo:

If a turbo is installed would it cool faster?  :tounge:

A Holley 750cc would work if you tune down the "secondaries".  Make sure you use unleaded R12 refrigerant.

You don't need a turbo - just add a bunch of Sprite-Boy stickers. 

Ask any 19 year old, stickers make it faster!

This being in the D.C. area,  it could be that it was a goverment project to see if they could save on electricity by putting a gasoline engine in place of the compressor and then envirolmentalist complained that they were destroying the ozone with the harmful release of R 12 into the atomsphere, plus the R 12 turned the carburator into a snow cone...

You could probably pick up a used quadrajunk from the salvage yard to fit that thing. I personally think his timing is a touch off... :tounge: :laugh: :biggrin:
