Title: Slider Fishtail Stencil
Post by: ClassicCokeLover on January 14, 2013, 05:51:53 am
Where can I get a stencil for the Coke fishtail to be sprayed on? (For the front of a Glasco slider)

I don't believe they were ever painted on.  You can get vinyl decal reproductions (both sizes) from Funtronics for around $20.

originally yes it was screen printed on the machine...

most use the vinyl to replace it ,, but maybe you could use the vinyl to mask it off and have your painter work with it to paint the white on first , apply the decal, apply the red and remove the decal... you'll have to clear after that to get rid of the paint lip but worth a shot if you want...

otherwise the vinyl by it'self is nice too.. and easier.

My bad - you are correct, mine is screen printed on the slider.   I didn't really think of that as "painted" on, but I guess technically it is.
