I am currently disassembling a Cavalier CS64 but can't figure out how to remove the chrome on the main door around the outside! Best to take some pictures of what you are trying remove so we can follow exactly what you actually trying to do. You will find lots of help here on the site, may take folks a few days to reply, but you shouldn't have any problems. The early models were held in with snaps.

I have the door completely apart and can see that they are held in with screws but how do you remove the screws without damaging the trim. I tried sliding the trim but that didn't work.
