OT Post by: jholmgren on December 12, 2012, 01:34:11 pm Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a big sale and anyone who would like to part with their machines are welcome to offload them cheap/free on me, but there is a major misconception about the Mayan calendar predicting the end of the world.
It is simply approaching the time when the Maya would "turn the page" on their calendar and start a new one. It's basically the equivalent of saying the world will end in the year 9999 on the Gregorian calendar because it only accounts for 4-digit years. ok - with that said - Party on! |
