Title: Wanna bring back Christmas memories? Post by: pinballdude on December 07, 2012, 02:07:45 pm That might sound like spam but check out this website. It has Christmas wishbook catalogs broken down into individual pages. I saw the Sears Screamer 2 bicycle I still have in the 1969 Sears wishbook and it was about $69 back then!
I was 12 and boy did that seem expensive! Unfortunately, mine no longer has the same seat :( www.wishbookweb.com Title: Re: Wanna bring back Christmas memories? Post by: 90grad on December 07, 2012, 02:54:32 pm Wow, talk about "Sherman, set the Wayback Machine." I saw many toys my brother and I had as kids in the 70s. Thanks for the link!

What GI Joes did you have the plastic hair or the mini fros? I was in the era that saw both. Title: Re: Wanna bring back Christmas memories? Post by: Eric on December 08, 2012, 08:35:13 am My GI Joe has the mini fro.. still have him in a box somewhere... and my 1965 mustang pedal car...
great memories.. those old christmas catalogs can bring pretty good $$$ on ebay. Title: Re: Wanna bring back Christmas memories? Post by: halehouse on December 08, 2012, 09:22:25 am These are cool. I see a Dragnet pedal car I'm putting on my wish list for Santa. I have my dad's Lionel set from when he was a kid. I'm looking for that in the catalog.
Almost $90 for an electric typewriter in 1955...was pricey! Title: Re: Wanna bring back Christmas memories? Post by: SodaShopNick on December 08, 2012, 10:27:47 am Most of my GI Joes were the mini fro, but I did have one with the plastic hair.....all long gone now.
