Title: Glasco Evaporator Fan Motor Post by: ClassicCokeLover on December 05, 2012, 11:45:36 pm Has anyone ever repaired the original evaporator fan motors? I would like to retain the original, but the fan motor doesn't turn consistently. Starts and stops, runs slow.

I'm a huge supporter of keep it original but on parts that relate to safety and reliable operation new is the way to go. Just buy new ones from one of the sponsors of this site. Most motors have a single bushing type bearing and can't be replaced.
