Title: Any place I can get a spring replicated/reproduced? Post by: brasskey on September 19, 2012, 11:34:28 pm I'm almost done taking my Atlas slider apart and most everything seems to be in decent shape. The one exception is a spring that is used for the bottle unloading mechanism. This spring pulls the bottle bucket back into place after a vend. It is rusted pretty bad on the circular bends and there is a crack on one of the bends. It's just a matter of time before it breaks. Since many of you have fixed numerous machines I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for a company that could replicate this spring. Am I out of luck? Any other options? Thanks.

Post by: collecture on September 20, 2012, 12:41:53 am I have yet to try, but it is on my list. Doesn't look too hard!
Only way to go if you only need one - at least $100 otherwise! http://home.earthlink.net/~bazillion/intro.html McMaster-Carr sells music wire in small lots. Good Luck! Post by: briandr1 on September 20, 2012, 12:10:25 pm Theres a place in houston called Draco spring manufacturing, they may make springs that small I dont know if just one though. When I worked in the drilling fluid parts manufacturing we used to get our snap rings from them.
