Title: Vendo 81B - Original Refrigeration??? Post by: 66GTO on August 30, 2012, 03:29:28 pm There's a Vendo 81 that I was pursuing, and I'm not so sure about the refrigeration unit. Can anyone tell me if this is a replacement unit?

Post by: johnieG on August 30, 2012, 05:40:53 pm It's Original alright, but it has been painted/detailed semi-gloss black & they sprayed over the copper lines, rewired & it has a replacement fan shroud, looks like the unit has no tap-valves, so that's good, the system is still sealed, and the harness-plug mounting bracket & evap' coils have been spritzed with hammertone silver, looks nice ( but it doesn't mean it actually runs, but I assume it does at this point) looks like a nice job.

I think I will be making the day long trip to get this one... Everything looked good from pics, but I wasn't sure about the refrig unit. Is it OK ti transport on it's back?
