Title: bev air cooler Post by: briandr1 on August 30, 2012, 07:34:58 am Ive got a bev air display cooler model mm14ge when I plugged it in it cooled to 40 degrees in thirty min and after an hour was down to 30 degrees. Well it held that temp for at least 8 hours. The lowest temp I got from the evap was 29 degrees, I left it cooling over night and when I checked iy this morning it was at 50 degrees with an evap temp of 47. No ice build up anywhere, could there be moisture in a refridgerant line freezing? All fans are working door seals are good. Any suggestions of what the problem could be? The cooling system looks good no signs of a leak, condensor and evap are clean and look as good as new. Any thoughts would be apprecated.
Thanks in advance, Brian Title: Re: bev air cooler Post by: johnieG on August 30, 2012, 08:21:44 pm sounds like your compressor may be short-cycling , check the thermostat & the over-temp-kliket on the compressor itself
