Title: Tonight's auction... Post by: MaineT on August 29, 2012, 08:08:15 pm I went to my local auction tonight and they had a baseball card sell for $62,000.... Really, I'm not kidding. Oh, ya, plus 15% commission! It was nuts. Google it tomorrow, it will make the news.

They are part of Auctionzip.com and Liveauctioneers.com and both have live bidding so people sign up to bid on other items. A normal night they have 600 between the 2 websites anyway signed up to bid. They had a lot of good stuff in the summer, so they get a ton of internet bids anyway. Ed, the T was just in case someone already had taken just Maine. I didn't put any thought into it when I signed up. I thought I would ask my couple of questions and be done with it but didn't know how addictive this is! Title: Re: Tonight's auction...
