Title: Just Finished Cavalier USS-64
Post by: memorylane on July 27, 2012, 12:11:15 pm
one of the most useful vintage Coke Machines there is. Just Restored by Memory Lane Restorations, a beautiful Cavalier uss-64, This is one of the most useful vintage Coke Machines on the market. This machine was built in the 1960's around the time when all Soda Machine were vending glass bottle Soda but can's were hitting the market and the vending companies were left with what to do? Cavalier Corp. came out with the best of both worlds a Cavalier uss-64 with the glass bottle door that would not only vend all glass bottle soda but also vend Can's.
Notice the detail work, extra chrome, powder coating, new refrigeration, all stainless steel screws, new insulation, sandblasted to bare metal, new lighting, ballast, starters, relays,Insulated thermal Paine bottle door glass, new screen printed Coke face, all metal coin mec, the best wire clamps to tighten up the wiring and much much more.
Memory Lane Restorations takes great pride in our work and craftsmanship and we put endless hours of labor into restoring a piece of history. We hope you enjoy the photos.
Thanks so much, Curtis Kauffman, Memory Lane Restorations / www.retrovending.com

They light up so nice and can't hear them run. I just like it.....Got one for myself to do next :)

Curtis, looks awesome, agreed that it's one of the best USS machines that I have seen...I love mine and have used it every day for the last 6 years vending every different kind of bottle/can.

Great work, nice to see these square tops getting their light in the sun

Alright Curtis,

You have  finally convinced me.  Square tops can look pretty cool when done right.

Great job.  See you on Monday with the Roadman.

Great work Curtis! :happydrinkers:  I am sure Roadman will be happy with that machine.  I use my 64 everyday and it has got to be the most versatile machine out there.  I have everything from 16 oz glass to 12 oz cans and it will vend most plastic on the market as well.

Mine is 70's vintage so it has the woodgrain which I don't mind because that is what I grew up with.

Machine looks even better in person! Once again, great job Curtis and Steve. The machine is spectacular down to every last detail, absolutely perfect.  Curtis was nice enough to pick up a few cases of retro coke in the small bottles along with the small "Crush" bottles.  Curtis and Steve are the true gentlemen of this hobby - thanks so much for another great project. Bcharlton was nice enough to help as well, and he is finally coming around on Square Tops!!
