Title: Free play ramifications? Post by: Bob K on September 01, 2004, 07:24:06 am Hi all:
When you set up a machine for free vending using the diagram on this board (thank you soooo much... ), the coin mechanism is unplugged and only three spades are inserted into the Jones plug, leaving five slots empty. Why doesn't this have any effect on the machine's electrical operation? Or could it possibly have an effect? Thanks, Bob Title: Free play ramifications? Post by: johnieG on September 01, 2004, 10:02:44 am You worry too much Bob ...... but seriously, all the free play switch really does is to supply the vending relay with a pulse of current to set the vending gate/relay, it does the same function as the coinmechs vending internal switch/relay
no othe function(s) are affected, other than the correct change lamp won't have any voltage. the compressor/fans & thermostat are on a seperate wiring harness. just follow you wiring schematic of your machine, & you'll get a better understanding of what-does-what ( & why)....
