Title: Auction tonight

I'm at this auction tonight and there is a lollipop sign similar to one mentioned in another thread. I'll try to stay and see what it goes for. I think there are photos in the link above.

I guess it was the stand for the cop that was being discussed and not the lollipop sign itself.

Of course they are going through all the smalls first. There are three Sprite flanges I am watching in particular. It's tough to gauge if this stuff will go high or low. I'm listening to all the Pawn Star and American Picker comments around me.

Auctions are fun, but can be grueling to sit thru.

Yeah. It was long. I was waiting on the Sprite flange signs, so I didn't spend any $ early. I bid to $270 for one, but they went to $280 and the guy took all 3.

Do you know what the CC 1927 Arrow sign went for...?

Dan,
Do you know what the CC 1927 Arrow sign went for...?

I wrote down a bunch of prices. One of these arrows (the two in the left of this pice) went for $550 and the other about the same.
The triangle sign on the bottom with the brackets had some damage to the back and sold for $400. The one on the top $725.

This small tin sign with the lady $260.
The lollipop sign was two sided, both sides very nice with the original frame and base. $1050
There were 9 of the large rectangular signs and they sold between $130-160 each.

Thanks Dan!
I would like to find one of these 1927/1929 arrow signs in good to very good at a reasonable price and this seems fair although I cannot see the sign up close...
