Title: Is this worth having?
Post by: Scopicdrive on July 11, 2012, 11:33:43 pm
This is close to my me.

I know its missing all the guts and the cap catcher.  I guess I'm dazzled by all that embossing.
I'm thinking a nice cooler for my office.
My brother does killer body work.

If you like it pop on it!  Take 100 bucks in 20's offer 80 and work your way up if you have to.  The price is low but consider he or she is missing a lot of the parts.

That may be a good strategy to negotiate a lower price...

It's a General Electric wet chest, missing just about everything including it's compressor mounting rails (the whole bottom of the machine really) cheap enough, & it would be an involved project. beware that the tanks (liner) on these rust out very easily.

I had a non-electric cooler.. loved it.. but this is missing many parts, the base, front grill cover, cap catcher, front right chrome strip,
I would pass... it's a shame cause these are nice... but hold out for a complete cooler or machine... they're out there.

for the right price its all worth it!!

Are those embossed an bottle caps on the lids??? that is pretty cool. You could cut all of the embossing out, put it in frames and sell them as signs to the american pickers!! You would make a ton!!
