Title: Re: just another Summer.... in TEXAS! Post by: ss540 on July 05, 2012, 08:17:16 am I'm not bragging, but when we built our house, we had central air & heat installed in the garage, which was $ well spent. We rarely need the heat, but the AC is nice here in Southeast Texas. The garage is 1,000 sq ft, insulated, with insulated garage doors. I put seal strips on the garage doors to reduce infiltration and bugs.

hahaha.... yeah, it's that hot! :veryangry: :veryangry: Central air and heat in the garage is a GREAT idea. I've had a/c in the last 2 shops I've been in/built... well worth the money. SE Texas is hot and "wet"... just to die for. Over here (San Antonio) we're a bit dryer, but at over a 100 degrees, 8 weeks or so a year.... damn! That's why "GOD" made a/c!!! Title: Re: just another Summer.... in TEXAS!
