Title: Big DP Selectivend value? Post by: Kaleid20 on June 09, 2012, 09:11:21 pm Guys any idea the model? Im guessing the Selectivend C-144?
Looks to be WAY overpriced, but I havent seen this particular model before. http://houston.craigslist.org/fod/3068217994.html Title: Re: Big DP Selectivend value? Post by: Scopicdrive on June 09, 2012, 09:28:39 pm It's also on eBay. It started with a $1000 BIN then went up to $1500. Is it a Selectivend S-96?
It seems over priced to me. http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-1950S-DR-PEPPER-SODA-MACHINE-VENDING-MACHINE-/251081845301?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a75a4ea35#ht_500wt_1355 It seems to be the same as this one minus the drinking fountain. http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Cent-Lever-Dr-Pepper-Machine-/320901386298?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab736903a#ht_712wt_1340 If only a s-48 with a glass door would pop up for sale. Title: Re: Big DP Selectivend value? Post by: MoonDawg on June 10, 2012, 09:14:28 am That is a Selectivend S-48 glass door version, which is harder to find than the S-48 single vend. Because it's still considered a round corner machine with the crank handle and glass door, it may have more value in the near future. It looks like it would clean up real well and would probably be a good deal at $750 or less.
Title: Re: Big DP Selectivend value? Post by: Scopicdrive on June 12, 2012, 07:35:12 pm I've found a few S-96 with glass doors and they are a bit larger. The S-48 has very little space between the coin mechanism and the edge and the door. The photo of S-48 in the gallery here appears much smaller.
