Title: Pepsi Jacobs 56 Finished Post by: Funtronics on June 07, 2012, 07:12:15 am Hello Guys:
Here are a few machines that I just finished. The Jacobs 56 was a real challange. I bet the service men hated these back in the day. It was a real challenge to get the sold out light to work with the flag and coin mech as was the nickle light to get to work with the mech. Everything works as it should on this. I did create some new parts while doing this machine, so if anyone is restoring one of these in the near future and need something just give me a call. :happydrinkers: Title: Re: Pepsi Jacobs 56 Finished Post by: bcharlton on June 07, 2012, 07:25:36 am I am having a little trouble with my sold out flag (on my Pepsi 56) as well. I have to extend the small wire that touches the contact. Did you have that issue with yours as well?

I have to extend the small wire that touches the contact. Did you have that issue with yours as well? I had to rework things in that area. Everything is very touchy, and has to be set just right.Brian Title: Re: Pepsi Jacobs 56 Finished Post by: Slider-Bob on June 07, 2012, 07:55:36 am Looks great Rod...My problem isn't getting one to work...it's finding one!!!

Is the Coke Crossing guard an original? I can not see (in the picture) if the right foot is dated or not. Brian Title: Re: Pepsi Jacobs 56 Finished Post by: Kilroy on June 07, 2012, 09:39:53 am Nice work as always Rod. Is it a keeper or for a customer?

I am starting the tear down process for my 56 in two weeks. I have never done a Jacobs 56. Is there anything besides the sold out flag that I need to pay special attention to? I have restored about 6 or 7 roundtops all Vendo or Cavalier.
