Title: V80 Power Cord Post by: jholmgren on May 23, 2012, 12:50:05 pm My newly acquired V80 needs a power cord - 'critters' got to the original plus it has some nasty looking cracks.
I know that FunTronics sells a replacement, but is there any 'secret sauce' to it? It looks pretty standard. I'm thinking for a one-off item like this I should be able to pick up a standard appliance replacement cord at my local Home Despot and save on the shipping. Also - anything special I need to watch for when replacing the power cord on this? I haven't taken a real close look at the connections yet. Thanks, Jim Title: Re: V80 Power Cord Post by: Eric on May 23, 2012, 01:02:39 pm I got my cord for a Vendo 56 at Lowes... on the 56 there was a little box the end was in
I had to drill the box open by the way it was sealed then I just changed out the cords.. Moondawg talked me through it... He can talk all the lingo and get you through it.. I'm sure someone here may even have a image of it step by step.
