Title: painting a ideal 55 slider
Post by: r500 on May 10, 2012, 08:24:13 pm
Hi does anyone know what it would cost to paint a ideal slider already sandblasted  one small rust hole (the size of a dime) and very few dents,  primed, painted,
and clear coated ???????????????????

First need to decide how well to fix the hole and dents. Weld patch and pound out dents so minimum putty required. Or just slather the imperfections with putty.
Paint it depends. 12 rattle cans ??. Crappy spray job with cheap paint ???.

Hope others chime in but $800 to do right.

That sounds about right $700 - $800.  I had an auto body shop do my Glassco.  Minor body work and paint for $600 labor.  I supplied the paint
($80 for 1 qt Dupont Centari.)
