Title: Dr Pepper Machine model progression
Post by: Kaleid20 on May 07, 2012, 03:08:07 pm
Can anyone help me out and either share with me model numbers or a series of pictures on the progression of what Dr Pepper machines looked like. The vast majority Ive seen available are the square top ones I believe to be from the 60's & 70's. What were the models pre-1960?? Is the VMC 81 the only model before 1960? Any one who can provide reference would be appreciated.

Selectivend 96 rounded top.. non-embossed, VMC 33, 81, 110 again non-embossed, Idela 55, 85 slider type cooler/machines non-embossed
older coolers like the Quikold junior, standard and masters were embossed in both script type logo and brick logo.
I'm sure some other can add more.

Atlas, Bevco, Guiberson did a lot of the chest coolers.
The SelectiVend's (S-48 & S-96) are the more commonly seen uprights, but there exists Vendorlator 33, 81, 88, 6CV, 110, 144M, 144SA & the VMC 302 according to Walters. They are really not very common machines in any make or model.
