Title: Condensation build up
Post by: on August 01, 2004, 01:14:18 pm
I have a caviler 64 square coke machine. It runs great but has a build up of condensation between the double glass windows on the door. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?   Brian

Move to Arizona.... :p , some is normal, however, if the bottle door isn't sealing right, ie: sitting squarly against the rubber seal all the way around, you'll be leaking humid air into the machine all day long. use your ear & listen for the sound of the inside (evaporator) fan when the compresssor shuts off.
if you hear it excessivly load, try pushing on the door to see if it gets quiter, if so then you've found your problem. slip a large bladed screwdriver into the space between the hinge & the frame at a 90 degree angle to the door & gently (easy does it!) pry to the right about an 1/16" this usually does the trick in closing the door all the way. other things to check for are a dry/shrunken door seal, & busted springs, there are several screws you can adjust on the hinge side also to help square up the door in reguards to the frame....JohnieG
