Title: VMC Dual 27 Parts Needed Post by: Picklef16 on April 12, 2012, 01:19:01 pm Hi All...new to the forum and have already found a lot of helpful posts. This is my first restoration of a Coke machine and it has been in the making for years. Bought the machine in 2004 but didn't start working on it until 2006. After 5 military moves, 1 year remote, and one year deployed, I am finally getting the pieces of this machine back together. I am on the hunt for a couple of parts and hope someone here can help me out. I need:
1 door hinge Inside trim (not sure what it's called) it holds the black plastic pieces in place that cover the insulation I'll see if I can attach a photo. Do you need the main door hinge or a coin door hinge? The Breaker Strips (that is what they are called) can be obtained from Fun-Tronics. I have the Breaker Strips...I'm missing a couple of the aluminum trim pieces that hold the breaker strips in place. I've checked the online stores but can't find these pieces anywhere. Any suggestions? Creig Title: Re: VMC Dual 27 Parts Needed Post by: collecture on April 12, 2012, 05:42:22 pm OK - listed as a Breaker Strip Cover in my VMC-33 manual - not even listed in my VMC-27A manual. It says that 6 are needed, so you have a sample since they are all identical. Seems like they would be an easy part to fabricate.

Still need a main door hinge and the "Breaker Strip Cover" aluminum strips. Additionally, I need the bezel for the bottle chute and the flapper for the bottle chute. Would appreciate any suggestions on where to find these parts. I've searched online and checked with a local machinist who said he could "probably" do the hinge ($$$$$). Thinking it's just a waiting game now hoping to come across the parts I need. Would love to finally get this machine completed. Thanks for the help.
