Title: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Post by: Kaleid20 on April 08, 2012, 09:28:49 pm Guys this is for sale in my area...looks like the guy is desperate to sale as his listed price has dropped twice in a week.
Current asking price - $785 http://houston.craigslist.org/atq/2947247681.html Not one of my favorites, but what do you think of the asking price? I was leaning toward offering $600 if the rust isn't real bad. Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Post by: Kaleid20 on April 09, 2012, 01:39:20 am Yeah I'm not uber-high on this machine...lacks the embossing that I love so much. However, if I could get this for cheap, I'd pounce. We don't get many machines down here in TX for cheap. Prices are very inflated.

Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Post by: BrianS on April 09, 2012, 11:58:15 pm Be patient on finding your first machine. I can relate to the frustration of finding that first one, but make sure you get one that will fit your space and your needs. Once you get one, you have a lifetime to work on it and redo it. You looking for one to use daily or one to turn into a showpiece?

Well - if he is having trouble giving them away, let me know where he's located and I'll help him out! Jim Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Post by: Slapshot42 on April 14, 2012, 11:24:47 pm I would take them too! I would rather spend my money on something else. The 33's just don't get me too excited. But, if it was free, well that's a different story.
Title: Re: Vendo 33 listing...this price good? Post by: bcharlton on April 15, 2012, 09:09:39 am Find a complete/working Vendo 39 for under a grand. Even thought it is also not very practical, it is still a pretty cool machine.

You even said yourself you're not stoked about this machine, but the price is cheap. Why get a machine taking up space in your cave when you're not gonna be proud to show it off? Sometimes its better to go home alone, then to go home with the last girl at the bar. There is a reason why she's the last one lol. Just my thoughts, but what do I know! Whatever I learned, I learned from here lol  Oh, and my neck of the woods sounds like yours... that machine here would fetch 800 easy all day long. But, for me to go drive to place that sell them cheaper, and resell them here, with gas at 1.40 a L, just not worth it. Im itchin to pick up another machine too lol.... just waitin on the right one.
