Title: Clock Value
Post by: jbrooks on March 25, 2012, 09:21:43 pm
I know this is not soda related but I could not resist this clock.  It is near mint but i could not find any info on it...thoughts on value?

Thanks

Nice ! If it's vintage, lights up and near mint  I would pay at least $100 also there a  web site that sell replacement soda relate faces that should work with that clock if you want to swap it out .

I think that estimate may be low, I was thinking $250+ but wanted to know what others thought.  I kind of think the original subject matter is cool and I am going to leave it original.

It is a nice piece and looks cool, but subject matter  to the collector is what I think determines the price they are will to pay for it, if the subject matter was Coke, Pepsi etc.. or Ford ....yes  I would pay $250.00 for it, but that's me.

I've seen RC Cola and Nehi versions of this clock.

I would give $250 for that clock. Went to an auction last saturday and repro clocks were going for $175

thats what i thought.  i feel it has cool subject matter with the cash registers etc.  the graphics are great and the condition is top notch.  thanks cohammer, it is always nice to hear it from someone else to reaffirm my thoughts

You could get 250 easy there are tons of clock collectors out there. and the older and more original they are the better.

Ok, have to ask.  How come none of them show the same time?  Some sort of a "Clocks around the world" thing?  :tounge:  Do love the clocks though.  Harder and harder to find it seems.

I only turn my clocks on when I am in my basement and have never set all the times.
