Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: loman4ec on July 16, 2004, 06:11:14 pm I want to buy this machine but the rack inside is missing. Is this something that can be found easily. I attached a pic. I don't Know what is missing but it looks like some of it is there. What do you all think. I have wanted a 55 for a long time.
Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: johnieG on July 16, 2004, 10:00:11 pm Sorry, the picture is way too tiny to get any detail, kinda looks like it is missing the rack, but don't hold me to it...
couldn't you contact the guy & ask for more inside photo's? after all this kind of purchase is important! the racks hardly ever come up for sale unless someones selling a parts machine... so be sure to get one thats complete. Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: Bob K on July 21, 2004, 11:20:20 am loman4ec, did you buy it?
Bob Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: loman4ec on July 21, 2004, 11:43:33 am I decided against it. It is just too risky. It doesnt have the rack and the person says they wont plug it in, so I don't even know if it works. It was on ebay. It was number 6108673984. Its going to sell in 2 hours and its at $356. Besides I am really looking for a westinghouse or Cavalier dry cooler somewhere Close to Daytona Beach Fl or surrounding states. Hint hint. If anyone knows of any.

Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: Bob K on July 23, 2004, 07:19:55 am That never moved past $356.00. Too bad the innards are so difficult to come by.

Is that a 1 selection or 2? Also, does it have the light-up front sign? Thanks, Bob Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: MoonDawg on July 24, 2004, 01:37:15 pm It's single select, steel sign. Plain Jane! (no rust/dents)
Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: Bob K on July 24, 2004, 09:27:53 pm Glen - no rust/dents? Complete and fully functional?
Why are you selling it for parts - it sounds too good for a parts machine. Especially given the rarity. Bob Title: Cavalier 55 question Post by: MoonDawg on July 25, 2004, 10:37:19 am I guess you're right Bob. Sent a picture to Josh and he bought it already
