 I will be participating in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb on March 10th. Please support me with a donation. Our efforts will help make a big difference in the fight against blood cancers. Thank you for your generosity!

* I'm not sure if this is bad form but  I wanted to try to get as many donations as I could.  This is for a worthy cause and I do it every year for both my Uncle and Grandpa that died from cancer.

It's that time a year and some if you may have received a personal email.

I will be participating in a fundraiser to support the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
I will be climbing 69 Flights of Stairs, 1311 Steps, and over 788 vertical feet in full Firefighting Gear!

All proceeds go to support the research to stop blood cancers!

Thanks I'm shooting for under 20 mins.  I have been using a stairmill at work and doing 82-88 flights in 20 minutes.  My gear weighs  about 55 lbs.

   My Dad ended his battle with Luekemia 2 years ago this Memorial Day. He was a Firefighter for 16 years. My wife finishes up her last chemo treatment next friday, then its on to radiation therapy. Hits close to home. Thanks for the support of a worthy cause.

Training Update:

I have been training pretty hard anywhere between 300-350 flights of stairs a week on a stair mill.  I'm carrying between 55-60lbs, and completing 69 flights of stairs in about 17 minutes, and average of 79 steps per minute!

Thanks to everyone that donated to the charity.

The event was a great success! Our team raised nearly 25k.  The total raised for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society was 1.44 Million .My time was 21 Minutes.

It's that time a year again!  As many have contributed in the past I will be raising money to find a cure for cancer.

Last year's fundraising was at it's best for me in which I raised over $2300 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

A big thanks to ALL the members that have contributed in the past.  A special thanks to Funtronics for already donating as my first business sponser.

Event:

I will be climbing in full firefighter protective gear approximately weighing 65lbs.  The Stair Climb is the largest firefighing event in the country raising 2.23 million dollars for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.  69 flights of stairs, 766 vertical feet, 1311 Steps.
