Title: For the 78 rpm crowd.
Post by: Creighton on February 03, 2012, 11:38:59 pm
Here is a portable that was my grandparents. It was working just fine until I broke a needle off in the tonearm. Fixable.
Interesting item to take through airport security. Wouldn't let me see the scan :-(

It will go in the vintage camping kit.

Cool Creighton!
Where is the speaker - in the top?

Sweet.

On the 78rpm note.  Anyone know a good source to get values on these records?  A lady at my veterinarian's office has a bunch that are in pretty good shape?

That is cool, but if you had to carry that plus a batch of records for the machine, you would get a hernia.

Speaker is very clever. It is the curved piece of wood that also holds the tonearm.
The hold down is for the crank handle.
Weighs in at 9.0 lbs
