Title: Wanted: Westinghouse WB78 parts
Post by: mrbelvedere2 on January 30, 2012, 09:18:26 pm
I just acquired a neat Westinghouse WB78-B6. I don't have the lock or the mechanism to keep the front door closed. Also looking for labels. Thanks for any help!

I probably have a lock bar. What flavor labels are you looking for?

I know I have a lock bar some where...it's mixed in with some others...so I might need a picture/ dimensions from anyone here that has one in their machine. I also just gave away an embossed sign...I think it's the right one. Can you send me the dimensions and I will follow up on it for you?

Thanks
Ron

I will double check the dimensions on the lock bar, I would think that a lock bar out of a Cavalier CSS/USS machine is about the same measurements.  I have both here and will check tomorrow.  As for the lock, I just used a standard 7/8" cabinet lock from Home Depot and it replaced the factory lock no problem.

The sign is approximately 22" x 9"

Cavalier lock bar won't work, just checked both.  The Westinghouse 78 lock bar is 19" when straightened out, two sections are 9" each.  Let me know if you need a photo of it.

Sorry I forgot about this....just looked and I do not have one either.
I would buy a reproduction and cut to fit - tkaz just gave you the measurements.
