Title: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: ciawarrior on January 28, 2012, 01:22:49 pm http://www.ebay.com/itm/RETRO-DR-PEPPER-6-PACK-COOLER-ORIGINAL-BOX-/130636997222?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e6a926266
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: MoonDawg on January 28, 2012, 01:25:23 pm Yes, but they are not made anymore so supply and demand takes over.
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: johnieG on January 28, 2012, 03:53:09 pm heh heh, a bit "high"
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: aspbear on January 28, 2012, 05:55:12 pm I think that is too high also. I have noticed these starting to go up in price but more in the 100 dollar range.
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: ss540 on January 29, 2012, 10:18:05 am As Moondawg mentioned, there was a limited run of them and unless they do another run, the supply/demand argument is valid. I was fortunate to find one on ebay about a year ago for about $150, which is close to the new price for it. I use it and a couple of other repros for rod runs and picnics.
At $200 plus shipping, how bad do you want one? Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: Flightfanatic on January 29, 2012, 10:50:04 am I also think it's pretty high. I'm If someone is willing to spend that much on a repro, they'd be better off waiting and buying a nice original.
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: MoonDawg on January 29, 2012, 11:58:52 am You won't find an original in the 6 pack size though.
Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: SIGNGUY on February 02, 2012, 10:24:51 am I like it ,but dont' like the blue insides... :glare:
actually it's pretty cool, even for a fantasy peice (as originals were not available). if your a picnic cooler collector,, then this would be the one to have... IMO.. Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? Post by: Pat Pixley on February 02, 2012, 11:00:24 am Very cool and yes if your a collector and that the one you needed then yes you had better grab it.
and for the Blue i think it is a blue plastic film to protect the inside. like a sheet of stainless steel  Title: Re: Does this seem high for a repro? At this time we are not in production. Later this year the CEO will advise whether or not he will produce the picnic coolers again. I will keep your info and advise as soon as we have confirmation from the CEO of product availability.
