Title: Mills Slot
Post by: Slapshot42 on January 15, 2012, 09:03:49 pm
I stumbled on this one today at an Estate Sale.  Seller was asking $10,500.00.  Said it was from 1936?

Looked like a Mills Slot machine everything worked on it.

That is a $3000 slot machine, tops. Don't mistake that to a Polk, if it was a Polk then it would be a different story.

I agree.  Don't think it is a Polk.  This is a Polk original, or so it says.

It's a Dick DeLong, and it looks like a repro War Eagle slot. Current market value is $2k to $3k. These did sell in a retail environment from $9k to $12k.

The other items around it look like decorator items (gumball machine, gas pump).

Yes, they did make plenty of repop War Eagles. Every one I've seen was a 25c denomination.
