Title: Looking for CSS-96 (or CS-96C/E) door liner and other parts
Post by: brasskey on January 15, 2012, 08:46:46 pm
UPDATE 04/22/12 - Just needing bottle opener bezel now

As this is a larger machine I know that these liners are probably not reproduced.  Obviously liners for CS-64C/E can be found new, but I assume these larger ones cannot.  I know I could easily get the same thickness of plastic and have one cut (since it is all mostly flat), but I dont' know how I would accomodate the bulge at the bottom where the wires and tubes go up from the compressor.  Anyone have a used one in good condition?

Also, the bottle opener hole is larger than what I've seen on these Cavalier machines.  Anyone know where I can get a larger bezel?

Lastly, where can I get a lock mechanism to complete this door handle?

Sorry, I just realized I put this in pre-60s machines. Please move if needed.

Still looking for a few parts for this machine (liner, bottle opener trim, and lock mech).  I just got it back from soda blasting and now it's on to body and paint.

We have the T bar lock and handle. The door liner you will have to fabricate.

Please do. That would be great if it's in decent shape.

Better than what I currently have.  Mine disintegrated on the edges when I took it off (combination of being screwed down too tight and the age of the plastic).  I'd like to see a pic when you have time. Thanks.

Please check your PMs.  I messaged you last week to see if I located the correct lock on your website.

I came across parts for the T-handle lock (thank you Janet) and a liner.  All I need is the larger bezel for the coin return.  If anyone comes across one, please PM me.  I need to put everything back together but I got the shell back.  Hopefully I'll get it done soon.  Thanks for all the help. This forum has been a great asset.

I have the entire unit back together.  I just need to clean it up and take some good pictures.  The only thing I'm looking for is a Cavalier logo bezel.  Can I get this anywhere?  It's common on some of these 60's square tops but I guess they're not remade.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Is it just a decal over metal?  You could give this one a shot with a little trimming it could work: http://www.fun-tronicsllc.com/index.php?crn=353&rn=1202&action=show_detail
