I don't think the resale value is there in this scheme though. What is wrong with the 10 cent price sticker? I have seeen pictuers of this machine before and have always likes it. When it comes to restorations, I think it's fine to be "daring". If I ever get my hands on one, I will airbrush a picture of "Bessy's " face on the front and have a fake tail comming out the back.

I don't think it's bad, something different, but again up to each individual. Doubt it will sell for asking, but maybe he's just testing the waters?
