Post by: Matt on December 07, 2011, 09:45:02 pm I don't think the TV shows are causing an 83 to be priced at $8000. It seems the seller is just not in touch with the real value of that machine. Many folks would not take an 83 for free.

People can price things at any amount, it doesn't matter if they don't sell it. Title: Re: Original V-83.Apparently Worth 8k Original?6-7k Restored was the going rate??? Post by: mygoose101 on December 07, 2011, 10:24:10 pm OMG :upside:

I talked to Pat, Johnie, Kilroy and Ray. We are all willing to kick in a grand if you do too! 8) I think we can get it for 6K! It is a nice clean original but "C'mon Man!" Can you even vend a 12 oz bottle out of an 83? :drinking: Tim :drinking: Title: Re: Original V-83.Apparently Worth 8k Original?6-7k Restored was the going rate??? Post by: Kilroy on December 08, 2011, 07:47:19 am Tim, The 83 only vends 8 oz bottles, so i am putting $750
It's in extremely good condition, the liner instruction sheets make me think it is original, but just not priced right. Post by: SIGNGUY on December 08, 2011, 09:27:11 am at one point, i wanted to have one of every Vendo (pre 60's ) in my collection and during that time, I would have paid maybe 600-700 for an 83 like this in nice condition as it is a beautiful original.. but that dream went away so now I have no interest even in a free one...
YOu michigan guys should buy it and just move it around each others houses every 3 months or so! think of the excercise! Title: Re: Original V-83.Apparently Worth 8k Original?6-7k Restored was the going rate??? I can see the "orange peel" which appears to be done inthe last 20 years or so. The paint on my originals Vendos do not look like that
