My son and I had a great year deer hunting. He got his large deer bow hunting the day before shot gun season opened up. I shot mine the second day of shot gun season. Had a lot of fun and the weather wasn't that bad either. I have been to the UP and back twice this week and I have seen more bucks than I can count going down the highway in trucks and on top of cars. The sign at the bridge shows that approx. 50% more deer were taken in the UP this year!

so no jerky...yet... he still has 2 more nights for gun then there's late youth hunt... So he's not too upset... fingures crossed. Nice jobs guys!
