Title: Ucky-Pucky
Post by: KRyan on November 12, 2011, 10:53:53 pm
I've got a Cavalier 72 that I am trying to restore. I'm getting the machine ready to send to the the sandblaster. I want to remove the "exact change" and the price indicator windows from the coin door, but they are glued in place by some grey "ucky pucky." I don't know if that's standard or not, but I don't want to use acetone or something like that that might hurt the decals for the windows. Any suggestions?

Funtronics, a sponsor on this site, sells a new faceplate including the windows.
Highly recomended!

Try Goo Gone.  It is citrus based and will remove adhesive residue without harming the paint.  Great stuff.
