Title: Vintage Coke Sign Post by: cola62 on November 11, 2011, 03:48:39 pm I just purchased a vintage 4ft porcelain Coke sign to hang on my shed. I hate to put it outside but that is why I bought it. I mounted an old fashion gas station light over the location to light it up. My question is what would be the best way to protect it. I was thinking auto wax to repel the rain. Any thoughts?

I just use turtle wax. If it is not in direct sunlight or rain may not need anything. Clear coat or varnish cause problems later and do nothing for the sign. Creighton |
